President's Note

We all had a wonderful time in Costa Rica last year! We kicked off the trip with a welcome dinner and cocktails. During the two days we spent in San Jose some people went into the capital city to experience the culture, while others stayed at the resort to enjoy the sun and the pool. We then moved out to the west coast to Los Suenos. On the group dinner night we all enjoyed a delicious lobster bake at a restaurant on the beach, and local band played while we danced the night away!

There was plenty of time for people to explore Costa Rica on their own, go on tours, or just relax. Some of the more popular tours were the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, the Poas Volcano, and the Zip Lines. The La Paz Waterfall Gardens had five breathtaking waterfalls, a butterfly observatory, a hummingbird sanctuary, snakes, monkeys, and lush plant life. The Poas Volcano is one of the largest active craters in the world with a bubbling, green rain-fed lake at the bottom, surrounded by smoke and steam rising from fumaroles. The zip lines were an exhilarating experience flying over the rainforest.

We all enjoyed farewell dinner with cocktails, music, dancing, and fireworks on the final night. A photographer took couples photos and group photos for us to have as keepsakes of the trip.
